PRODUCT INFORMATION
Each silver item (with the exception of SickKids holiday ornaments) is hand stamped one letter at a time. Hand stamping is an art. Depending on the words and number of letters, the look of the piece will vary slightly from the picture shown and stamping may be uneven. This is what makes each Suetables piece special, unique and full of character. Sterling silver does not like water of any kind. Please do not shower, swim or bathe in water wearing your jewelry. A whirlpool will ruin it - potentially forever.

PRODUCT CARE
Sterling silver is susceptible to tarnish – this is a natural reaction the metal has with chemicals in the air. Also, when charms are ordered in a group, they will rub against each other creating a slight shadow effect. Thankfully, preventative maintenance can help keep your sterling silver jewelry looking great for years to come. Frequent light polishing with a polishing cloth designed for sterling silver — such as http://www.suetables.com/ca/shop/special-items/jewelry-polishing-cloth — will help minimize tarnish. You can also wash your jewelry periodically with mild dish soap and warm water — be sure to rinse well and dry completely before putting your jewelry away. When storing silver jewelry items, keeping them in sealed polyethylene bags will help reduce tarnish as well.
Tarnish can be easily removed when first noticed. However, if left untreated, the color of the tarnish will darken and will become more difficult to remove, requiring professional cleaning.
It is also important to avoid exposing sterling silver jewelry to harsh chemicals like chlorine, cosmetics, hair spray, and perfume, and to avoid extended exposure to direct sunlight.
This enviromentall friendly method works well:
Aluminum Foil, baking soda and salt: Place a sheet of aluminum foil in the bottom of a pan, add 2-3 inches of water, 1 tsp of baking soda, 1 tsp table salt, and bring to a boil. Add silver pieces, boil 2-3 minutes making sure water covers the silver. Remove silver, rinse, dry and buff with a soft cloth. This method cleans the design and crevices of silver pieces.
