A CHARMED LIFE
Collected over many years and treasured by the wearer, charms have the power to create a memory, evoke a sentiment and capture a moment in time.
My grandmother passed a few years ago and I am now the proud owner of her charm bracelet. She told me the charm stories many times. “This gondola is from our trip to Venice; the baby shoe marks your birthday; the stop sign with ‘I LOVE YOU’ was a birthday gift from your grandfather.”
Charms relay a visual history that belongs to the wearer and they are a wonderful keep sake for the next generation.
It has taken me five years to create a charm bracelet I love with a technology from China which is second to none. I am not a fan of the add-on lobster clasp charms (albeit easy and inexpensive) and I don’t like the fussy-ness and added expense of having to solder charms on by a professional jeweler.
I want instant gratification.
So, I have finally created and designed one I love. It is the Charlie charm bracelet named after my ‘baby’. (I have waited five years to name something beautiful after my littlest one.)
These charm bracelets have links with hinges so you can add and remove links and charms to make it fit you perfectly. It is a feat in engineering and a simple design.
The Charlie charm bracelet is a great way to celebrate families and loved ones without sacrificing style. And you can collect charms for years and create your own visual history.
Note: The Charlie charm bracelet is now reduced from $250 to $195. Charms are extra. http://www.suetables.com/ca/shop/bracelets/charlie-charm-bracelet
