Suetables is a hip, fresh and inspired company that designs and designs, creates and hand stamps personalized, meaningful jewelry.

ABOUT SUE HENDERSON, FOUNDER & DESIGNER

For over 10 years, Sue worked in the television industry - managing public relations for brands like HGTV, Food Network, Slice and National Geographic, before turning to jewelry design in 2004 as a more personal means of expression. Sue describes her business as something that grew from, “a need for balance combined with my love of contemporary art, fashion, literature and words.” Inspired by a hand-stamped vintage knife she saw on the coast of Maine, Sue started hand stamping vintage silver baby spoons and butter knives for gifts. Once she developed her hand-stamping skills, personalizing jewelry was a natural evolution that provided an outlet for her creativity.

Not just content to dream about faraway places, Sue ensures that travel is a vital aspect of her life and jewelry design. To be creative, Sue believes you have to go where you can relax and take in new sights and experiences. From visiting art galleries on Toronto’s Queen Street with her two sons and exploring the cobblestone streets of Morocco, Vienna or Prague to climbing Machu Picchu and hiking in the Austrian alps, Sue is passionate about experiences that stir her imagination. sue@suetables.com

ABOUT THE SILVER

All jewelry pictured is .925 sterling silver. Ninety five percent of the line is designed in Canada and made in Taxco, Mexico with select items from China,Thailand, Italy and Bali. Suetables uses expert silversmiths from Taxco - the place where Paloma Picasso, William Spratling and Daniel Espinosa (the most successful Mexican artist) began. There is something about this mysterious hilly town, lined with silversmiths and cobblestone streets that lures founder + designer, Sue Henderson, back time and time again. We hope this authenticity reflects in our line.

Items are designed by Suetables in Toronto, Canada and made with unequaled quality and workmanship in the mountains in Mexico. These companies specialize in design and manufacturing of jewelry and silver work, by means of the traditional artisan process that has flourished for the past 70 years.
